2005 has been a great year to produce red wines in the Maule Valley. The growing period was dry and warm followed by a long maturation process with stimulating cool temperatures. Our 2005 Merlot is a wine of high concentration, deep color and great maturity. Very sweet and rich aromas in the nose, showing the fruity character with plum standing out. The remarkable full mouth-feel plays with the fresh acidity that is a leacy of grapes grown in cooler areas. The 16 months ageing brings the subtle notes of French oak expressed in a very elegant finish.
