The mouth is generous, rich and round with well-integrated tannins. This Merlot comes from our El Maiten Vineyard, a soft slope set against the dramatic backdrop of the Andes to the east and the Coastal Mountains to the west. Our El Maitén vineyard is an ideal location for Merlot. It is inland enough to generate the temperatures this noble grape requires. It's also close enough to the Pacific Ocean to keep temperatures from spiking too high during the dog days of summer.
