The modern construction that houses
the cellar and the commercial offices
of Viña Calina was designed
by architects Lawrence Odfell and
Juan Purcell M.
The construction is located within
an 85-hectare parcel of land located
between the Norte-Sur Highway and
the Andes Mountain Range, some fifteen
kilometers from Talca, on the road
to San Clemente, a zone with a tradition
of wine production.
The cellars are located close to the
vineyard, in one of the vertices of
the land approximately 1 kilometer
from the inside road. From this location
one can see the great extension of
the cultivated valley, the Lircay
River, the hills, up to the peaks,
which during an important part of
the year remain snow-covered.
The cellars have a complete program
with fermentation vessel, keg and
bottle storage, with appropriate levels
of controlled temperature and humidity.
These premises include a modern laboratory,
wine-tasting hall, as well as employee
offices, located in a body that connects
the cellars with the offices.
