Bravura is the flagship Bordeaux blend of Viña Calina. Bravura is characterized by the wonderfully ripe fruit flavor and elegance of wines grown in the red, rocky soils of our estate vineyard, El Maíten. The wine is produced in limited quantities and only in exceptional vintages using luxury class winemaking techniques.
The 2003 has an intense cherry color which reflects its youth and liveliness. The influence of the valley is clearly expressed in the complexity of aromas of black cherry, fresh red fruits, black pepper, berries and floral notes together with subtle touches of smokey oak given by the aging in small French oak barrels. The blending of the different grape varieties delivers a powerful and mouth-filling wine with soft and velvety tannins.
