Harvest
2001 Colchagua
Valley
Calina Reserva, Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2001 harvest in Colchagua
Valley and in all the country
, was characterized by a dry
winter and a cool spring, allowing
a long period of maturity without
rains. In terms of quality we
could compare it to 1999 vintage.
It is without doubts, one of
the best harvests of the decade.

Inside Casablanca Valley, this
year was very good, with a warm
Spring, due to that the harvest
started earlier. Like previous

was free from rains. The quality

Harvest
2002 Maule
Valley
Calina Reserva, Merlot
The year 2002 was specially
rainy at the end of the season,
this affected mainly Carménère
and Cabernet Sauvignon of the
region. In the case of Merlot,
there was no problem since it
comes from coastal areas of
the valley with breezes and
good exposure, ideal for maturity
process.
The harvest was earlier than
previous year due to a warm
Spring. Harvest
date: March 7th to April 4th

night.
There were no rains in the area
until the end of the season.
This year the production was
naturally down to 10%. Harvest

Calina Reserva, Carménère Alcance,
Carménère y Merlot
This year we had excellent weather
conditions, which allowed to
